A bowl is a utensil, shaped like a bowl and smaller, used to hold rice, vegetables, tea, and so on. It generally refers to the food utensils used by monks, such as tile pot, iron pot and wooden pot. Nowadays Thailand and other southern Buddhist monks, still in the early morning every day along the door begging. Book 9 of the Law of the Four parts mentions the types of bowls: "There are six kinds of bowls: iron bowl, Su-Mo bowl, Ujaero bowl, Ujaero bowl, Black bowl and red bowl. In the law system, the pot has the "body", "color", "measurement" and so on. First: the "body" of the pot shall only be made of tile and iron and shall not be made of "gold, silver, copper, glass, mani, white wax, wood, stone..." And so on. Second, the color of the bowl is limited to black and red in the Law of quarters, and peacock throat color in the Law of fifths. In addition to the "black, red, gray" three colors, do not embalm other colors. The third is the capacity of the bowl. The law of quarters says, "The greater shall receive three measures, the lesser half, and the middle by measure." It depends on how much one eats.
